DAVI & NielsenIQ Offer the Next Step to a Better Shopping Experience

With a new data analysis tool, retailers can improve prices, offers, and assortment

Data Analytics Ventures, Inc., the loyalty and data business unit of the Gokongwei Group, and NielsenIQ, a global measurement and data analytics company, have formed a partnership to provide customized and relevant product offers to Robinsons Rewards loyalty members through the use of big data analytics.

The collaboration introduces the Advanced Analytics Platform, the first in the Philippines that will uncover insights about market demands and transactions to improve the consumer shopping experience.

“To widen our understanding of the swiftly changing Filipino consumer behavior, we have to go deeper into shopper insights. Through loyalty data, we are able to understand the spending habits of our shoppers and connect the dots to identify new programs to enrich our customer’s lives. These insights can immediately be acted upon through personalized campaigns tailored for specific individuals,” said Jojo Malolos, DAVI Chief Executive Officer. “Through data analytics, Robinsons is able to go beyond giving rewards points; it will be able to provide customized and relevant offers to its shoppers.”


Featuring easy-to-read dashboards, text summaries, and online help, this new data analytics tool enables users to gain maximum insight from DAVI’s consumer data. Through AAP, retailers can make data-driven decisions such as identifying the proper price points, promotional campaigns, and product assortment to provide enhanced value for Robinsons Rewards loyalty members.

The Advanced Analytics Platform is designed for collaboration. With its internal mail and presentation modes, the sharing of insights and aligning on actions is simplified. This makes it easier for Robinsons, manufacturers, and consumer brands understand how to add value to shoppers and improve sales of fast-moving consumer goods in stores. Through this collaboration, Robinsons Supermarkets and participating brands will be able to enhance the development of products and services to meet the needs and wants of Robinsons Rewards loyalty members, providing a rewarding and personalized shopping experience like no other.
