Aviation Partnership Philippines (Aplus) has secured authorization from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to perform Airbus A321 C-Check maintenance at its base hangar in Clark International Airport, further expanding the company’s ability to conduct comprehensive scheduled aircraft inspections.
Aplus is the wholly owned aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) subsidiary of Cebu Pacific, JG Summit’s aviation business. The development supports Cebu Pacific’s fleet growth while expanding Aplus’ technical capability in Clark.

Granted on May 7, 2026, the expanded scope builds on Aplus’ existing Airbus A320 maintenance capability and now includes Airbus A321 NEO and CEO aircraft, covering major engine platforms—specifically the CFM56 and Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines—used on Airbus’ narrow-body fleets. This allows Aplus to support heavier maintenance requirements for modern aircraft operating across domestic, regional, and international routes.
Mark Jefferson C. Sulit, General Manager of Aplus, said the development strengthens the company’s ability to support Cebu Pacific while preparing for broader opportunities in aviation maintenance.
“Congratulations to all the people involved in achieving this milestone. This strengthens our ability to support Cebu Pacific’s growing operational needs while positioning Aplus for broader opportunities in the aviation MRO sector. This is a reflection of the dedication of our team to provide quality service to our customers as we remain committed to safety, excellence, and continuous growth,” Sulit said.

With safety at the center of its operations, Aplus continues to build its Clark maintenance platform while supporting Cebu Pacific’s operational needs and strengthening its role in the Philippine aviation maintenance sector.
