CEB Rolls Out Customer-Centric Enhancements & Operational Resiliency Initiatives

Travel funds are now non-expiring, while travel voucher validity is up to 18 months

Cebu Pacific, the country’s leading airline, is on a mission to enhance the travel experience with a series of customer-centric policy improvements. These changes, effective August 1, 2023, are set to make air travel even more accessible and convenient for CEB’s passengers.

The first notable change is the elimination of expiration dates for travel funds. Previously, these funds were valid for only six months from the date of conversion. CEB has removed this time constraint, which means that travelers can use their travel funds like a virtual wallet for future bookings or add-ons without worrying about the expiry of their travel funds.

In addition, passengers with a MyCebuPacific account can now use their non-expiring travel funds not only for themselves but also for booking flights on behalf of family members or friends, adding an element of convenience and support for their loved ones' travel arrangements.

Another significant improvement is the extension of travel voucher validity to 18 months, up from the previous six months. This extended window provides passengers with more flexibility and ample time to utilize their vouchers for booking flights. These enhancements reflect Cebu Pacific's unwavering commitment to address its passengers’ concerns and adapt its services to meet their evolving travel needs.

Candice Iyog, CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, emphasized the airline's dedication to its passengers, stating, “The improvements in our customer care policies, especially the non-expiry of our Travel Fund, is a testament to our commitment to our passengers and our promise to keep listening and improving. With these enhancements, we hope to make air travel even more accessible to every Juan.”

In addition to the revised customer-friendly policies, Cebu Pacific is bolstering its operational resiliency in response to the growing demand for air travel.

Its fleet modernization program is well underway, in fulfillment of CEB's commitment to provide safe, reliable, and affordable air travel to its passengers.

One of the latest aircraft deliveries, a brand-new Airbus A321neo, arrived in Manila on July 27, 2023, using blended sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), marking a significant step in CEB's sustainability efforts.

On July 27, 2023, CEB received its ninth aircraft delivery of the year. The brand-new Airbus A321neo (New Engine Option) arrived in Manila from Airbus’ Delivery Center in Hamburg, Germany, using blended sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on its flight. IMAGE Cebu Pacific

Originating from Airbus’ Delivery Center in Hamburg, Germany, it was CEB’s ninth aircraft delivery of 2023. The airline aims to transition to an all-NEO (New Engine Option) fleet by 2028, with SAF playing a pivotal role in reducing carbon emissions across its operations. A month earlier, CEB received an A320neo aircraft also powered by SAF from Airbus' assembly line in Tianjin, China.

SAF is a drop-in fuel that shares characteristics with conventional jet fuels but offers up to an 80% reduction in carbon emissions across its lifecycle. This commitment to sustainability aligns with Cebu Pacific's vision of making the aviation industry more environmentally friendly while ensuring an improved travel experience for passengers
