Cebu Pacific recently bolstered its partnership with AXA Philippines, one of the country’s top insurance providers, with the launch of Piso Protect, an affordable personal accident microinsurance product for everyJuan.
Piso Protect Personal Accident microinsurance ensures financial security in case of accidents that result in injury, disability, or loss of life. For as low as 1/day or P365/year, this easy on the pocket insurance product can help cover the cost of hospitalization due to accidents.
With Piso Protect, the insured party can receive accidental death or permanent disablement coverage of up to P250,000, daily hospitalization coverage of P1,000 per day (for a maximum of P5,000), and a surgical cash benefit of P5,000. Making it even easier to obtain coverage, the purchase of a CEB flight ticket isn’t required to avail oneself of Piso Protect.
The new offering comes at a critical time when the world is gradually transitioning to normalcy. As people become increasingly mobile, the risk of accidents happening also grows. Hospitalization can be a financial burden, so it is better to be prepared for these unforeseen instances.

Piso Protect is one of several products under a suite of lifestyle insurance packages offered by the CEB and AXA Philippines partnership. In September 2020, CEB and AXA Philippines became the first to offer non-travel insurance products in the Philippine aviation industry with CEB Health Protect, an insurance that provides coverage for the top three critical conditions: cancer, stroke, and heart attack.
