Cebu Pacific opened its new training academy in Parañaque City for pilots and cabin crew on April 27, advancing the airline’s commitment to aviation talent development, operational excellence, and the future of the Philippine aviation industry.
The Cebu Pacific Training Academy is a purpose-built facility designed to provide hands-on, experience-based training for pilots, cabin crew, and aviation trainees. It brings the airline’s training resources into a centralized and modern facility that supports practical instruction and real-world learning.

Spanning 1,685 square meters, the academy is equipped with Airbus A330 and ATR door trainers, cabin mock-ups, slide trainers, classrooms, and equipment rooms. These allow trainees to undergo scenario-based instruction led by Cebu Pacific’s training teams.
Cebu Pacific Chairman Lance Gokongwei and Chief Operations Officer Javier Massot led the inauguration of the training facility with Ret. Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
“The Cebu Pacific Training Academy reflects our strong commitment and investment in the Philippines and its aviation industry. This facility allows us to stay focused on what matters most: operational excellence, service consistency, and nation-building,” said Massot.
“With this facility, we also seek to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of aviation training standards in the Philippines, and to help raise a generation of more capable and future-ready aviation professionals,” he added.

The new academy forms part of Cebu Pacific’s broader effort to build a stronger pipeline of aviation professionals as the airline expands its network and operations.
To support aspiring pilots, CEB revived its Cadet Pilot Program in 2024 in partnership with Cebu-based flight training school Airworks Aviation. The program provides high-quality training, structured mentorship, and a clear pathway to employment with the airline. As of April 2026, the program has produced its second batch of pilot graduates.
CEB has also been conducting cabin crew recruitment activities across its key hubs nationwide to support its growing operations and build a pool of well-trained, service-oriented crew members.
