GoTyme Bank Named Among Forbes’ World’s Best Banks 2026

Mix of digital ease and real-world access continues to resonate with customers

GoTyme Bank has been named to Forbes’ World’s Best Banks 2026 list, ranking No. 2 among the eight Philippine banks included this year. The publication's eighth annual ranking was developed in partnership with Statista, a global market research and data analytics firm, through a survey of more than 54,000 people across 34 countries and 17 languages.

Participants were asked about their overall experience with their banks, including how satisfied they were, how likely they were to recommend them, and how they rated key aspects such as trust, customer service, digital experience, terms and conditions, and financial advice.

As the fastest-growing Philippine bank, GoTyme Bank’s inclusion comes as digital banking continues to gain ground globally, driven by customers who want services that fit more naturally into their daily lives. These digital banks, also referred to as “neobanks”, have gained traction by making accounts easier to open, reducing pain points, and building around what customers actually need day to day.

That broader shift helps explain why GoTyme Bank’s approach has resonated in the Philippines. The bank offers a simpler, more seamless way to manage money, shaped by its “Banking Made Beautiful” proposition. Through its mobile app, highly accessible kiosks, and debit card, it presents a banking proposition based on convenience, rewards, and usability.

Part of what makes GoTyme Bank distinct is the way it blends digital convenience with physical access. Customers can open an account through the app or at a kiosk and get a Visa debit card in just a few minutes. The bank pairs that with human support, giving customers the option to speak with a GoTyme ambassador when they need help.

Its placement in this year’s Forbes list suggests that this approach continues to connect with customers. As Nate Clarke, GoTyme Bank President and CEO, previously said, “When banking is made simple and beautiful, customers deepen their trust and adoption with the brand.”

GoTyme Bank is among JG Summit’s major ecosystem plays, bringing together Tyme’s digital banking platform and Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), JG Summit’s real estate development arm, whose malls and other properties serve as convenient access points for GoTyme kiosks in places many Filipinos regularly visit.
