GoTyme Bank — a BSP-regulated bank backed by the Gokongwei Group and Tyme, a multi-country digital banking group — has partnered with Maxicare Healthcare Corporation, one of the Philippines’ largest HMOs, to support payment of professional fees to Maxicare-affiliated doctors.
Through the bank’s secure and reliable platform, Maxicare now offers doctors an additional and more efficient way to receive their professional fees. With a smoother process, doctors can spend more time focused on patient care.
To support onboarding, both organizations launched roadshows at key hospitals, allowing doctors to open accounts and receive their Visa debit cards on-site. GoTyme Bank kiosks have also been deployed in major Maxicare-affiliated hospitals, including St. Luke’s Medical Center (Quezon City and Bonifacio Global City), Makati Medical Center, VRP Medical Center (Mandaluyong), and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital (Sta. Mesa, Manila).
These on-site activations provide hands-on assistance and immediate access to the bank’s services. To date, around 2,000 doctors have been onboarded, with the initiative aiming to reach an additional 20,000 doctors in the coming months.
Executives from both companies formalized the agreement at a recent signing ceremony held at GoTyme Bank’s headquarters located in Bridgetowne Destination Estate in Quezon City.
