GoTyme Bank, one of JG Summit Holdings’ strategic investments, has surpassed 10 million users just over three years after its launch, with customer deposits reaching more than PHP53 billion.
Established in partnership with Singapore-headquartered Tyme Group, the bank attributed its rapid growth to sustained customer use across its debit card, money transfer, savings, credit, remittance, and investment services.
“Reaching 10 million users is an important milestone on our journey to become the Philippines’ largest and most loved bank. But for us, it’s really about the trust that millions of Filipinos place in GoTyme Bank every day,” said Nate Clarke, CEO of GoTyme Bank.
“We’re grateful to our customers for choosing us, and we’ll continue working to make banking simpler, more accessible, more affordable, and more beautiful for everyone,” he added.
Designed for Everyday Banking
GoTyme Bank’s growth has been supported by services designed around customers’ everyday financial needs, from moving money and paying bills to saving, investing, and accessing credit.
The bank helped pioneer free InstaPay transfers in the Philippines when it launched in October 2022, at a time when fee-free interbank transfers were not yet common. This allowed customers to move money more frequently without transaction charges adding up. GoTyme Bank currently offers 20 free InstaPay transfers each month. PESONet transactions, used when transfers are above PHP50,000, are free.

Customers can also use the GoTyme Bank app to pay more than 160 billers and send or receive international transfers through Wise platform. As their financial needs grow, they can invest in Philippine stocks and cryptocurrency or access installment and cash solutions through MoreTyme, which has been introduced to more than one million early-access users.
This regular use is also evident in the bank’s debit card activity. In 2025, GoTyme Bank’s Visa debit card recorded the highest active usage among Visa debit cards in the Philippines.
Digital Convenience with a Human Touch
GoTyme Bank combines its digital services with a physical network that allows customers to open accounts, receive personal assistance, and conduct cash transactions.
The bank operates more than 600 kiosks across Robinsons Retail stores and SM Stores nationwide. These are supported by over 1,200 Bank Ambassadors who can help customers open an account and receive a physical Visa debit card in five minutes or less.
Customers can also deposit and withdraw cash through more than 2,500 lanes in Robinsons Retail stores, while cash deposits are available at over 4,500 7-Eleven stores nationwide.
By combining an accessible app with in-person assistance and a wide retail network, GoTyme Bank gives customers different ways to manage their money. Its growing range of services also allows users to move from basic transactions and savings to investing, remittances, and credit within one platform.
