Infosys & Microsoft Collaborate to Enable JG Summit's Digital Transformation

JG Summit Holdings has partnered with Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, to begin the next phase of the company’s digital journey. Through a collaboration with Microsoft, Infosys will offer the seamless implementation and migration to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to bring about an agile and robust digital infrastructure for JG Summit and its business processes.

As the technology services partner, Infosys will help formulate and execute the digital transformation strategy for JG Summit. Lance Y. Gokongwei, the president and CEO of JG Summit Holdings, has expressed that one of the company’s objectives is to embed digitization into their core business strategy across units, subsidiaries, and affiliates. Through the partnership with Infosys and Microsoft, JG Summit's digital transformation journey will help address the ever- evolving business demands, facilitate easy and secure collaboration among employees, and create other services they can offer to their end-consumers.

JG Summit’s next step on its ongoing digital journey begins with Infosys’ Infrastructure Management Solution Suite, a comprehensive hybrid IT management that will build, adopt, and govern hybrid cloud environments which enhances overall end-user experiences. Other implementations will also be done including the migration to Microsoft Azure cloud and the deployment of Wingspan. All of this is to prepare JG Summit’s next generation learning solution to create a culture of learning and collaboration to help JG Summit to upskill in this digital journey.

By leveraging Infosys’ expertise in digital technologies and with their comprehensive understanding of the business landscape, Karmesh Vaswani, the Vice President and Global Head of Consumer, Retail & Logistics of Infosys, said they will provide JG Summit a secure, scalable, and cost-effective hybrid cloud platform for large-scale digital transformation and enable a seamless transition to a modern digital workplace.
