JG Summit, URC, and Cebu Pacific Recognized in TIME–Statista Asia-Pacific Top 500 for 2026

Selection reflects strong performance across employee satisfaction, finance, and ESG transparency

JG Summit Holdings, Inc. and two of its strategic business units—Universal Robina Corporation (URC) and Cebu Pacific—were named in TIME and Statista’s Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies of 2026, a ranking of the region’s top 500 companies based on employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability transparency.

On the 2026 list, JG Summit Holdings, the parent conglomerate, ranked No. 302, URC ranked No. 246, and Cebu Pacific ranked No. 350, reflecting the group’s continued strength across consumer foods and beverages, and aviation.

URC is one of the Philippines’ largest branded food and beverage companies, with a growing presence across Southeast Asia. Its portfolio spans snacks, beverages, confectionery, and grocery products, serving millions of consumers across the region.

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading carrier, operates an extensive domestic and international network across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. As a low-cost carrier, it has played a key role in expanding air travel accessibility for Filipinos while steadily growing its regional footprint.

Notable companies where JG Summit holds significant stakes were also recognized on the TIME–Statista list, including Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) at No. 10, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) at No. 250, and PLDT at No. 371. These companies form part of JG Summit’s core investment portfolio, complementing its strategic business units and supporting long-term value creation.

The ranking was developed by TIME in partnership with Statista, a leading international data and business intelligence platform. Companies were evaluated across three equally weighted pillars: Employee Satisfaction, Financial Performance, and Sustainability Transparency (ESG) to arrive at a final score and determine the Asia-Pacific top 500.

JG Summit and its companies were also included in TIME–Statista’s inaugural Asia-Pacific list in 2025. Together, they remain guided by the conglomerate’s unrelenting commitment to provide customers with better choices, creating shared success with stakeholders.
