Lance Gokongwei, RLC win landmark awards at PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards Gala

Gokongwei honored with inaugural Life Achievement Award as RLC wins historic four-peat

The 13th annual PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards Gala was a big night for Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), which scored its fourth consecutive Best Developer award. The win, which was among a total of 31 that RLC took home this year, came on the heels of President & CEO of JG Summit Holdings and RLC Chairman Lance Y. Gokongwei receiving the gala’s first-ever Life Achievement Award in recognition of a career that has been an influential force in the Philippines’ real estate industry over the years. These honors have firmly established RLC as one of the Philippines’ most successful developers, and as a leader in the industry. The prestigious awarding ceremony was held on August 15, 2025, at Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

This was the first-ever four-peat in the history of the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, with RLC scoring consecutive Best Developer wins in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Through this milestone win, the developer has not only demonstrated its commitment to quality, sustainability, social good, and future-forward strategies, but also an unparalleled consistency in delivering excellence throughout every aspect of its business.

Building inspired spaces for 45 years, Robinsons Land remains committed to creating exceptional communities.

“We at RLC are deeply honored and thankful to be chosen as Best Developer for the fourth consecutive time. This win is a milestone that validates our consistency, innovation, and dedication to serving the Filipino people,” RLC President and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio said upon accepting the award. “As we celebrate 45 years of purposeful progress, RLC continues to build with excellence, ingenuity, and impact—shaping a future where every space reflects our mission to build better lives."

Supporting RLC’s Best Developer win was a bevy of other awards, including Best Luxury Developer; Best Sustainable Developer; Best Commercial Developer (via Robinsons Offices); and Best Hospitality Developer and Best Operational Hospitality Portfolio (both via Robinsons Hotels & Resorts). Other major recognitions included the Sustainable Design Award and Energy Efficiency Award (both via RLC Residences), the Social Impact Award (via RLove by Robinsons Land Foundation, Inc.), Best Retail Development for The Mall | NUSTAR by RLC, Best Hotel Development for Fili Bridgetowne by Robinsons Hotel & Resorts, and Best Office Architectural Design and Best Office Interior Design for GBF Center 2 by Robinsons Offices.

Robinsons Land triumphs with a total of 31 awards across multiple developer and design categories.

These wins were a testament to the leadership and guidance of RLC Chairman Lance Gokongwei, whose strong focus on business growth, along with advocacies for sustainability and social progress, earned him the honor of being PropertyGuru’s inaugural Life Achievement Award winner. PropertyGuru acknowledged Gokongwei as a “true pioneer” whose "remarkable leadership, commitment to innovation, and significant impact on the Philippines property market have set the bar for excellence."

In poetic fashion, Gokongwei and RLC scored their major wins on the same year RLC celebrates its milestone 45th anniversary.

“For the past four and a half decades, Robinsons Land has always stayed true to its mission: to build better lives,” Gokongwei said in his video acceptance speech. “Whether in helping first-time home-owners have a place they can call their own, building malls that bring jobs and services closer to communities, putting up offices that support global talent, opening hotels in emerging cities, developing estates that shape the future of our cities, or growing logistics hubs to support businesses, we’ve always seen real estate as more than just a business. For us, it is about creating spaces that make everyday life better for the people we serve.”

"From landmark projects like Robinsons Galleria in our earlier years to now having a presence in nearly every region in the country. It’s been a journey of building—quietly, steadily and with purpose."

Gokongwei also made sure to credit the many men and women who have devoted their talents and energy to making RLC the country’s best developer, sharing this honor with each and every one of them. "I’ve always believed that success is never the work of just one person. Thus, this award belongs not just to me but to all the men and women of Robinsons Land who have been quietly building day by day everything that we have achieved," he said.
