Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) advances its efforts to build better lives for Filipino communities with the opening of its 57th shopping mall, The Plaza Bagong Silang—a community mall and civic hub developed in partnership with the City Government of Caloocan. Through this public-private partnership, Robinsons Land brings essential services, livelihood opportunities, as well as retail and dining experiences closer to one of Metro Manila’s largest urban populations.
Now fully leased, The Plaza Bagong Silang features a diverse mix of retail and lifestyle offerings, ranging from groceries, general merchandise, appliances, and technology to healthcare services such as Maxicare. A lineup of popular dining brands—including Giligan’s, Greenwich, Paotsin, Potato Corner, Kyu Kyu Ramen 99, and Zus Coffee—further enhances the mall’s appeal as a convenient destination for shopping, dining, and everyday errands.
“Robinsons Malls redefines what a community-focused mall should be—a development that seamlessly integrates retail, public services, and recreational spaces that help residents thrive,” said Joel Lumanlan, Vice President for Marketing and Operations of Robinsons Malls, the mall development and operations arm of RLC.

Leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony were (L-R) Bambie Andal, Vice President for Public-Private Partnership Projects of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC); Faraday Go, RLC Executive Vice President and Robinsons Malls Business Unit General Manager; Robina Gokongwei-Pe, Chairman of Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI); Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan; Rev. Fr. Eric Felonia Funtanares of Sto. Niño Parish; Congressman Oscar “Oca” Malapitan, Caloocan First District Representative; Mybelle V. Aragon-Go Bio, President and CEO of Robinsons Land Corporation; and Stanley Co, President and CEO of RRHI.
At the center of everyday activity in Barangay Bagong Silang, The Plaza brings together a modern retail mall alongside a thoughtfully designed community center on the third floor. This dedicated civic space houses a health center, a multi-purpose hall, and a basketball court—facilities built to support the well-being, recreation, and daily needs of families in the area.
The development reflects RLC and Robinsons Malls’ ongoing mission to uplift local communities through projects that drive growth, support livelihoods, and enhance quality of life.
“We are happy to be in partnership with Robinsons Land who has built not just a mall but a community hub that empowers our citizens through accessible services and inclusive spaces,” said Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan.
RLC shares the same vision for building inclusive and accessible community spaces.
“The Plaza Bagong Silang embodies Robinsons Land’s commitment to helping communities grow and thrive,” said Faraday Go, RLC Executive Vice President and Robinsons Malls Business Unit General Manager. “By integrating essential public facilities with a vibrant retail environment, we create spaces where people can connect, access services, and build opportunities within their own neighborhood. We are honored to work with the City of Caloocan to bring this vision to life.”
