Robinsons Land Corporation recently turned over a donation of books and toys at the headquarters of He Cares Mission Foundation in Project 6, Quezon City.
The project was spearheaded by Architect Henry L. Yap, RLC’s Residential Division general manager, and Mike Torres, RLC’s Corporate Social Responsibility manager, and organized in partnership with the various condominium corporations (which each act as a homeowner’s association) for RLC-developed projects, many of them chaired by Arch. Yap. Unit owners and tenants of some RLC developments generously donated toys, books, bags, and clothes, which were appreciatingly received by underprivileged children at the foundation.

According to Torres, this was the first in a series of donation drives of Robinsons Residences and Robinsons Luxuria which will be done quarterly. For the current quarter, there is an ongoing drive for the donation of school supplies.
The next CSR initiative of Robinsons Land focuses on school supplies.
Founded by full-time lay missionaries Joe Dean Sola and his wife Ardis in 1996, He Cares Mission Foundation helps poor street children by providing them with food, clothing, education, and medical assistance. It also offers them guidance and spiritual support. The foundation serves several communities in Quezon City and one in Montalban with feeding programs, medical and dental missions, and counseling services. It also provides livelihood workshops and seminars for parents and guardians of street children who want to better their lives and become responsible and productive members of their community.
