Robinsons Land, RCR Win Three Retail Asia Awards for Robinsons Malls

Awards recognize Robinsons Malls properties for sustainability and regional impact.

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) and RL Commercial REIT, Inc. (RCR) received three country awards for the Robinsons Malls portfolio at the Retail Asia Awards 2026, reflecting the group’s strengths in sustainability, regional growth, and community-centered development.

Robinsons Malls, the Commercial Centers Division of Robinsons Land, received Eco-Friendly Mall of the Year-Philippines for Robinsons Magnolia, New Mall of the Year-Philippines for Robinsons Pagadian, and Regional Mall of the Year-Philippines for Robinsons Malolos.

Organized by Charlton Media Group, the Retail Asia Awards recognize outstanding achievements and transformative contributions across the Asia-Pacific retail sector.

The wins also reflect the connection between Robinsons Malls and RCR’s portfolio of income-generating commercial assets. Robinsons Magnolia and Robinsons Malolos are part of RCR’s mall asset portfolio, making the honors relevant to both companies.

“These recognitions show how Robinsons Land is expanding as a proudly Filipino company, meeting the evolving needs of communities nationwide,” said Faraday D. Go, Executive Vice President and Group Business Unit General Manager of Robinsons Malls and Robinsons Destination Estates. “Across our portfolio, we remain committed to building future-ready destinations that generate long-term value, empower communities, and contribute to the country’s continued growth.”

The three awards show the range of Robinsons Malls’ properties, from established lifestyle destinations to new regional malls that bring retail, dining, entertainment, and essential services closer to more Filipinos.

Robinsons Pagadian, which opened in April 2025, was named New Mall of the Year-Philippines. The mall has helped reshape the retail and entertainment landscape in the Zamboanga Peninsula by introducing the city’s first cinemas and bringing together a mix of global and local brands. The large crowds during its opening reflected demand for new lifestyle and commercial spaces in the region.

In Central Luzon, Robinsons Malolos was recognized as Regional Mall of the Year-Philippines for its role as a cultural, economic, and civic hub. The mall serves as a venue for major local events while bringing together retail brands, dining options, and essential government services under one roof.

“At Robinsons Malls, we believe our role extends far beyond retail,” said Ma. Kristina Real-Lim, Deputy Business Unit General Manager for Robinsons Malls. “Our developments stand as the heart of communities we serve, where people connect, celebrate life’s milestones, access essential services, and share meaningful everyday experiences.”

That community role also extends to how Robinsons Malls designs and operates its properties. Robinsons Magnolia was named Eco-Friendly Mall of the Year-Philippines for sustainability initiatives that support more responsible mall operations. These include renewable energy adoption, waste management programs, green mobility initiatives, and resource-efficient design features that help build more resilient developments for long-term community benefit.

The 2026 awards haul follows earlier Retail Asia Awards wins for Opus and Robinsons Antipolo, extending Robinsons Malls’ presence in the regional awards program.

As one of the country’s largest mall operators, Robinsons Malls continues to develop destinations that support everyday needs, local enterprise, and shared community experiences. Backed by RLC’s development and operating capabilities and RCR’s portfolio of commercial assets, the platform brings retail, services, and growth opportunities closer to more communities across the Philippines.
