Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) recently topped the Best Strategic CSR in the Philippines category in the 9th Annual Corporate Institutional Investor Poll conducted by Alpha Southeast Asia Magazine.
Besides this distinction, RLC ranked third in two other categories, Best Senior Management Investor Relations Support and Strongest Adherence to Corporate Governance.
RLC’s recent sustainability initiatives are highlighted in its 2018 Sustainability Report, which measures itself against criteria set to achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As written in the report, RLC assesses the “company’s contributions to the global call for action to transform our world,” and highlights “value creation for our stakeholders—employees, investors, customers, business partners, regulators, and communities.”

Established in 2007, Alpha Southeast Asia is the first and only institutional investment magazine focused solely on Southeast Asia, covering Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. As a publisher-financed trade journal, the bimonthly magazine takes pride in its editorial independence, operating free from any advertising or influencer bias.
The magazine’s annual poll measures corporate perception in terms of financial management, adherence to corporate governance, integrated reporting/ corporate social responsibility and investor relations. Three winners are chosen in each category, with each country having its own set of awards.
To determine this year’s winners, close to 500 investors and analysts from Southeast Asia as well as the U.S. and Europe were polled. Among their ranks were fund managers, large institutional investors, insurance companies, pension funds, private banks, equity and fixed income brokers, and buy and sell-side analysts.
