SYNC by RLC Residences Wins Gold at 2025 FIABCI Philippines Awards

Resilient and future-ready condo complex recognized for design and structural innovation

SYNC by RLC Residences, the residential division of Robinsons Land Corporation, is a four-tower condominium development in Pasig City designed with long-term resilience and functionality in mind. Recently, it received the Gold Award in the Residential High-Rise Category at the 2025 FIABCI Philippines Property and Real Estate Awards, recognizing its strength in design and structural innovation.

Organized annually by the Philippine chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), the awards recognize outstanding projects across various sectors of real estate, judged by a panel of industry experts and practitioners.

While offering modern finishes and amenities, SYNC places equal emphasis on safety and structural resilience. A key engineering feature is the Sky Bridge—specially engineered to withstand a magnitude 7.7 earthquake—connecting all four towers. Equipped with seismic gap cover plates and validated through real-time hybrid shake table simulations, the bridge enables independent tower movement during seismic events, enhancing both durability and occupant safety.

“Safety is always a top priority for us,” said Engr. Jose Rovie Cipriano, Head of Construction Group 2 of RLC Residences. “For SYNC, we made sure to work with trusted experts and conduct detailed structural tests to help the building respond better during strong earthquakes. Features like the Sky Bridge were designed to allow movement and reduce stress on the structure, so it can adapt instead of fail. We also added rubber dampers that absorb shaking during earthquakes, and cover floor plate hinges that let the floors bend and twist without cracking. At the end of the day, we want to give our residents peace of mind—knowing their home was built with resilience in mind.”

Strategically located along C5, SYNC is designed for young professionals and urban achievers who value access, efficiency, and long-term investment.

“SYNC isn’t just a place to live—it reflects the kind of future we want to offer our homeowners,” said Karen Cesario, Marketing Head and Chief Integration Officer of RLC Residences. “It’s thoughtfully designed to support everyday living while keeping practical needs like safety and reliability in mind. Being recognized by FIABCI tells us we’re moving in the right direction. We’ll keep focusing on what matters to our residents—building well-designed homes that are made to last and adapt to changing times.”

SYNC’s S Tower is now in the unit turnover stage, with handovers underway for early investors and residents. Meanwhile, the remaining towers are under active construction, and the final building is scheduled to launch soon. Together, the four towers will form a vibrant vertical community featuring smart home technology, curated amenities, and thoughtfully designed spaces that support modern lifestyles.
