URC’s Jack ’n Jill Brand Strengthens Presence in Hong Kong Retail Market

Customized products and retail partnerships help drive URC’s growth abroad.

Universal Robina Corporation’s Jack ’n Jill brand earned recognition from two major Hong Kong retailers, PARKnSHOP and 7-Eleven, as URC builds its snack business in the market through localized products and close retail partnerships.

The most recent recognition came at PARKnSHOP’s Super Brands Awards held on May 28, 2026, at the Hopewell Hotel in Hong Kong, where URC’s International Trading Operations team received the Outstanding Marketing Award and the Exclusive Co-Brand Award.

Organized annually by PARKnSHOP, one of Hong Kong’s leading supermarket chains, the awards recognize brands and suppliers that demonstrate strong market performance, customer engagement, and business growth.

URC earned the awards for Jack ’n Jill product and marketing efforts that helped drive sales growth and strengthen brand presence in PARKnSHOP stores. These included the development of tailor-made potato chip flavors created specifically for PARKnSHOP, as well as Jack ’n Jill Tomato Crunchies, an exclusive flavor launched for the Hong Kong market.

Earlier in the year, Jack ’n Jill received the Outstanding Sales Performance Award in the Potato Chips and Snack category at the 7-Eleven Top Brand Campaign Awards held on April 17, 2026, at the Regent Hong Kong. The annual awards program recognizes top-performing fast-moving consumer goods brands sold across 7-Eleven stores in Hong Kong.

With awards from PARKnSHOP and 7-Eleven, Jack ’n Jill has gained recognition across two major retail formats in Hong Kong: supermarkets and convenience stores.

Attlee Lau, Commercial Manager, and Kevin Chan, Assistant Key Accounts Manager, both of URC Hong Kong, represented the company at the two award ceremonies.

Reflecting on the honors, the team shared:

“We are honored to receive these recognitions from our valued retail partners, PARKnSHOP and 7-Eleven. These awards affirm the strong performance of Jack ’n Jill and reflect our team’s commitment to delivering relevant, high-quality snacks to consumers. Our success was driven by close collaboration with our partners, and we sincerely thank our customers and partners for their continued trust and support. We remain committed to further strengthening these partnerships in the future.”

The 2026 awards extend a Hong Kong growth story that goes back to 1971, when URC began operations in the market with Jack ’n Jill Potato Chips, with its local portfolio later expanding to include snacks and biscuits such as Beef Crunchies, Roller Coaster Potato Rings, Dewberry, Magic Flakes, and Magic Creams.

Through collaboration, innovation, and an unwavering focus on consumers, Jack ’n Jill continues to strengthen its position in international markets while proudly carrying the URC brand beyond borders.
