Robinsons Land Corporation’s Office Buildings Division (RLC-OBD) held its first-ever DECK awards on May 13, 2022, at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. The ceremony, which recognized the notable achievements of the division’s Building Management Department (BMD) for the year 2021, opened with a brief but inspiring speech from Frederick D. Go, RLC President and CEO.

Showing his appreciation to all the winners for a job well done, Go said that by living up to the standards recognized by the DECK Awards, RLC-OBD employees “are boosting the Company’s reputation by letting our customers know that we care about them, letting them know that we are here to deliver great service.”

Through the annual DECK Awards, RLC-OBD seeks to instill the core values of Dedication, Excellence, Consistency, and Kindness among its employees. It aims to cultivate a culture of "malasakit" (compassion) within the department to ensure that RLC’s office buildings are always kept in peak operating condition and that its employees consistently provide their utmost consideration to customers. This relentless customer focus is consistent with OBD’s slogan – CARE, which stands for Customer and Asset Reliability Excellence.

During the event’s closing remarks, Jericho P. Go, RLC-OBD Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager, shared that DECK Awards was a product of his many conversations with Frederick Go. Together, they conceptualized a recognition program to inculcate core values that, when practiced, will help RLC employees become “best in class” in maintaining their places of work and providing excellent service to their customers.
