JGSOC's Inaugural Family PatikaRun Supports Abot Kamay CSR Program in Batangas

On June 29, 2024, JG Summit Olefins Corporation (JGSOC) successfully held its inaugural Family PatikaRUN in Batangas City, attracting over 400 participants, including company employees and their families. Inspired by the Batangueño term "patikar," meaning "in a hurry" or "to act swiftly," the fundraising fun run emphasized the value of community engagement and showcased JGSOC's commitment to improving Filipino lives.

The event provided a golden opportunity for participants to reconnect with colleagues, friends, family, community members, and corporate partners. Highlights included a Zumba session, fun group activities, giveaways from event sponsors, and a raffle, all contributing to a lively and energetic atmosphere.

Reinforcing the company’s dedication to employee well-being and its support for the communities in which it operates, the event raised PHP244,150 for the Abot Kamay program, JGSOC's corporate social responsibility initiative. Established in the late 1990s, Abot Kamay focuses on education, the environment, and community development, benefiting JGSOC’s host and neighboring communities in Batangas City and beyond.
