Robinsons Land Helps Connect Communities Through the Love Bus

Free electric rides offer a practical link between Ortigas and Bridgetowne.

Even a short trip from Ortigas Center to Bridgetowne can mean deciding whether to book a ride or drive and look for parking. With the Love Bus, people along the route can leave the car behind and make the trip for free.

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) has donated buses to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) Love Bus program, joining government and private sector partners in improving mobility across Quezon City and Pasig City. Its contribution supports connections between established business districts such as Ortigas Center and the growing community in Bridgetowne, RLC’s flagship destination estate.

The service brings back a familiar name for an earlier generation of commuters, now with electric buses that produce zero tailpipe emissions and offer a cleaner option for everyday travel.

“Robinsons Land recognizes the growing need for efficient mobility solutions that will help Filipinos navigate their daily travel challenge,” said RLC President and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio.

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos led the inauguration on September 9 at the MMDA headquarters in Pasig City, joined by MMDA Chairman Don Artes, local government officials, and private sector partners.

Six buses run daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. along a route linking Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas Avenue, C5, Bridgetowne, and other key developments. Each accommodates 36 passengers, with scheduled departures helping people plan their trips.

Regular departures help passengers plan their day, whether they are going to work, attending a meeting, or fitting in errands. Those who hold office in Ortigas Center, for example, can walk to the Robinsons Galleria pickup point and take the bus to Opus for lunch, leaving the driving to someone else.

The same connection can serve nearby residents meeting friends or spending an afternoon at the mall. The clean, spacious buses have room for shopping bags, while air-conditioning offers passengers a welcome break from the heat outside.

With stops serving developments beyond RLC’s own properties, the Love Bus service gives neighboring communities a transport option they can share. RLC’s support helps make those connections possible, giving residents, workers, and visitors a way to get from the office to lunch, or from home to the mall, while helping ease traffic congestion by lessening the number of cars on city roads.
