Robinsons Malls recently launched a series of customer-centric sustainability initiatives to celebrate Earth Hour on March 23 and Earth Day on April 22.
The month-long activities commenced with “Fashion Forward: Where Style Meets Sustainability,” a celebration of upcycled, sustainably sourced, and organically made products, jointly presented by Robinsons Malls and The Philippine Star from March 17 to 23 at Robinsons Galleria.
A recycling market happens on March 21 and 22 at Robinsons Novaliches, where customers can practice responsible waste management while converting their trash into cash.
Proper electronic waste disposal and recycling are also made easy with the Robinsons Malls-Smart E-Waste Bins at Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Manila, and Robinsons Magnolia. Related to that, Robinsons Galleria recently introduced its innovative Renew-a-Bottle machine, which gives out rewards vouchers in exchange for used plastic bottles.

Robinsons Malls’ customers can join the nationwide Global Switch Off event on March 23 to show their support for the planet while enjoying stunning performances from the Magnificent Light Artist and Alab Poi Dancers at Robinsons Magnolia and other activities in other malls.
For the eco-conscious creatives, a mural-painting activity, “Art for Earth Paint by Numbers," will be held at select malls nationwide from March 23-24 and April 20-21, while the Dreamify Festival will take place at Robinsons Metro East on April 27-28. The latter promises a slew of inspiring art exhibits, captivating visual spectacles from local artists and performers, and engaging interactions with environmentally responsible merchant partners.
Apart from supporting these sustainability-themed activities, Robinsons Malls joined hands earlier this year with the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) as its sole mall partner in the “Rooted in a Purpose” tree-planting program in Brgy. Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal. Robinsons Malls has also partnered with several LGUs nationwide in community-centered clean-up and beautification efforts.
