The COVID-19 pandemic has caused great disruption not only to the world’s economy but in the way people go about their daily lives. For people living and working in the city, they’ve had to adjust to situations such as having to work remotely or if they need to physically report to the office, contend with the worsening traffic or the unpredictability of the public transportation system.

To help address these situations, Robinsons Land Corporation’s hotel properties under its subsidiary Robinsons Hotels & Resorts have developed innovative products designed for the evolving needs of consumers in the “New Normal.”

These days, working remotely has proven to be a practical and convenient way for employees to get work done while they are away from their offices. The work-from-home set up has allowed many businesses to continue their operations while keeping employees safe and sound in the comfort of their own homes. At the Go Hotels and Summit Hotels chains, guests can enjoy the convenience afforded by the remote work arrangement through Robinsons Hotels & Resorts’ Working-On-the-Go Private Offices.

With rates starting at Php 16,200 net per month, guests at Go Hotels in Ortigas and Mandaluyong can enjoy the privacy of their very own 18-square-meter office space. If the office is shared with a co-worker or friend, that amounts to just Php 270 per person each day. The space can be furnished with office tables and chairs (good for up to 2 persons) for an additional P3,600 per month.

At Go Hotels Ortigas Center, guests can also have the ultimate convenience of having their Working-On-the-Go office right beside their hotel room. For only P36,000 a month, guests can lease an 18-square-meter office space with an adjoining 18-square-meter guestroom.

Offices with more space can be leased at Summit Hotels Magnolia and Greenhills. At these locations, a bare unit measuring 30 square meters is available for Php 27,000 net per month, while a furnished office space with tables and chairs for up to two people costs Php 33,000 net.

The top-of-the-line package, which offers an adjoining room and office measuring a total of 56 square meters (approx.), is available at Summit Hotels Greenhills for only Php 48,000 net.

The packages offered by Go Hotels and Summit Hotels are turnkey and easy on-the-pocket so guests can start working as soon as the room is booked. Rates are also inclusive of utilities such as power and water, with free cleaning services provided each week. With internet connectivity being a must these days, Wi-Fi access up to 1 mbps per person is included.

Go Hotel’s Home to Go product, on the other hand, addresses the needs of young urban professionals, officemates, friends, and even university students searching for a budget-friendly place in the city to stay that’s near their place of work or school.

From now until December 31, 2020, Go Hotels is offering twin sharing all-in accommodations at only P18,000 for a 30-day stay. The offer includes basic utilities such as water and electricity, with free Wi-Fi.  At present, Home to Go is offered at three key locations in Metro Manila: Go Hotels Otis-Manila, Go Hotels Ortigas Center, and Go Hotels Mandaluyong.

Unlike the heavy initial costs required to rent or lease a regular condominium unit, which typically require at least two months deposit and a down payment, the Go Hotels Home to Go offers a more affordable prepayment scheme, equivalent to a 1-month stay, which can be made through bank transfer or by credit card.

Upon checking in, guests are provided with the Circle of Clean hygiene kits, towels, a set of pillows, and fresh bed linen. Should you stay for at least 30 days, the towels, and linen are yours to keep. “Circle of Clean” is Robinsons Hotels and Resorts’ elevated standard of hygiene and cleanliness based on World Health Organization and Department of Health New Normal protocols.

For guests’ safety and security, use of the elevator requires a special swipe card, as do the locks on the guest rooms’ front doors. Inside, a typical Home to Go room measures 18 square meters, with twin beds (only two people are allowed per room) and a private bathroom. Rooms for Persons with Disability are available. All rooms have cable TV and unlimited free Wi-Fi.

Summit Hotels and Resorts also offers all-in accommodations for a minimum stay of one month at P22,000 nett per room in Greenhills, Magnolia, Ridge Tagaytay, and Galleria Cebu; and at P20,000 nett per room in Circle Cebu and Tacloban. The monthly room rate is based on twin sharing with a maximum of two persons per room. This great value offer includes complimentary utilities, unlimited Wi-Fi and weekly cleaning. Add on items–toiletries, extra linens, and pre-packaged meals - are also available for a fee.

While cooking in Home to Go rooms or Working-On-the-Go offices is not permitted, guests may prepare meals at the common area pantry found on each floor. To spare guests from the trouble of cooking, meals for as low as Php 100 per set can be ordered online. Weekly meals may also be ordered in advance, as food order forms via QR meal ordering are provided to guests every week.

Apart from this, the Go Hotels and Summit Hotels branches are in close proximity to various Robinsons Malls. With the recently launched Robinsons Personal Shopper and RDelivery programs, the range of convenient dining options for guests is greatly expanded.

In light of the on-going community quarantine across the Philippines, some Robinsons Hotels & Resorts properties are operating under limited capacity.
