Every year, Property Report magazine commends individuals who contribute to real estate innovations. In 2017, Robinsons Land Corporation president Frederick D. Go received the Real Estate Personality of the Year award. “I am very grateful and humbled by this prestigious award. It is a recognition of the effort put in over the years of the entire Robinsons Land team,” Go said. “We have built so many landmark projects that have become integral parts of people’s lives,” he added.
As RLC president since 2006, Go led the company and established its prestige. It built some of the country’s world-class developments, from shopping centers to office buildings to residential condominiums to hotels and resorts.
Transforming people’s dreams into reality
“We want to transform people’s dreams into reality through real estate projects that last generations,” he shared. “The Magnolia complex, the Sapphire Bloc, the Westin Hotel and Residences, and the Bridgetowne complex are some of our more recent prominent projects. The happiness we bring to the provinces through our Robinsons Malls and Go Hotels are what gives me much satisfaction,” he said.
In each of his dealings, Go exemplifies sharp management and business sense. These qualities make him an exceptional leader in the field of real estate. “I wouldn’t be here today without going through many challenges. My upbringing and education trained me to be logical, process-oriented, entrepreneurial, fair, and resourceful,” he said.
Continuing the legacy
RLC’s president is not the only considered trailblazer. The company is also proud of its achievements and nominations in various real estate award categories. “We at Robinsons Land want to leave a legacy of having improved the quality of life of everyone we have touched in our businesses, whether they are a mall customer or partner, an occupant in our office building, a hotel guest or a homeowner,” added Go. “We are building the business of building dreams and making life better.”
