Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- JG Summit’s Innovation Academy focused on GenAI in 2025. It launched Design Thinking with AI tools, GenAI Lab, GenAI for Leaders, GenAI for Everyone, and Copilot curated workshops. It also reached over 10,000 employees across the Group through its weekly Teach in 15 sessions, upskilling their digital know-how.
- Various AI, Automation, and Analytics tools were launched in the Corporate Center Units (CCU), Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), and Universal Robina Corporation (URC). Five GenAI pilots were produced to assist the Corporate Strategy and Corporate Treasury Offices in earnings presentation preparations, investor sentiment, market and economic factors movements, corporate disclosure compliances, and competitor/industry analyses.
- MIGO, the GenAI HR chatbot, expanded to the CCU, GoGBS (Go Global Business Services), and RLC. MIGO functionality began to include employee-owned data and was more conveniently accessed via Microsoft Teams.
Upgrading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Systems
- Transformed core platforms with SAP S/4HANA upgrades for JGS, GoGBS, and URC, as well as SAP BW/4HANA upgrades for JGS, GoGBS, RLC, and CEB (Cebu Air Inc).
- RLC’s business transformation for all Robinsons malls nationwide, via the upgrade to SAP S/4HANA, was completed on time, on cost, and on scope.
- The focus for 2026 is on the next wave of SAP transformation for RLC, CEB, and URC International businesses.
- After a comprehensive vendor selection process, the Group entered into an agreement last September 2025 with Darwinbox, which will serve as the core HR system for Payroll, Timekeeping, Employee Data, and Benefits, under a four-year implementation plan, with the first wave going live by September 2026.
Delivering World-Class Services via GoGBS
Aspen has now been rebranded as GoGBS (Go Global Business Services), representing a renewed, stronger, world-class shared services company for HR, Finance, Procurement, and IT Operations, serving business units across the Group.
Sustainable Stewardship and Cybersecurity
- Group consumer data governance, compliance, and risk acceptance were fully completed for consent, consistency, and contactability.
- Gokongwei Group Cybersecurity Rating was maintained consistently at A levels throughout 2025.
- Integrated Zero-Trust Cybersecurity Transformation digital roadmap underway until 2028 to drive a scaled, secure, and cloud-only environment. Compliance and technical debt reduction were boosted through Windows 11 PC and legacy OS upgrades. Automation, shift-left operations, problem management, and trend analysis led to an 18% reduction in IT incident volume compared with 2024.
