In the wise words of Zurab Pololikashvili, the Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, “Trust is the new currency of our new normal.” For anyone looking for a hotel they can trust and count on to prioritize guests’ safety, health, and well-being in these uncertain times, Robinsons Hotels & Resorts has all that and more covered.

Besides offering its signature brand of excellent customer service, the hotel property management arm of Robinsons Land Corporation assures all guests of its commitment to their health through the Circle of Clean—an elevated standard of hygiene and cleanliness based on the new normal protocols recommended by the World Health Organization and the Department of Health.

These protocols have been rigorously adopted by Go Hotels and Summit Hotels and Resorts to provide all guests with peace of mind for the duration of their stay. The Circle of Clean program benefits all guests, including those who avail themselves of the value-for-money Home to Go and Working-On-the-Go packages.

In compliance with the established public health protocols, all Robinsons Hotels and Resorts properties have disinfection mats at all entry points, readily available alcohol sprays and hand sanitizers, and clearly visible physical distancing markers and other safety and health reminders. Behind the check-in counters, hotel associates equipped with face masks, face shields, and gloves stand ready to address every guest concern. Clear acrylic barriers between staff and guests are in place for added safety, while luggage and keycards are thoroughly sanitized before they are released to guests. To avoid unnecessary contact, prepayment and cashless modes of payment are highly advised.

Keycards are thoroughly sanitized and disinfected before issue to guests and after they are returned to the front desk.

Heading up to the guest rooms, access to the elevators is granted to a maximum of five passengers to allow social distancing; the elevator buttons are also regularly cleaned and disinfected for maximum safety. In public areas of the hotel, Circle of Clean Ambassadors are around to ensure that physical distancing is observed and to remind everyone to wear their face mask at all times.

GOH’s Busters: Go Hotels cleaning staff don full PPE, including facial shields, gloves, disposable gowns, and closed shoes.

Guests entering rooms bearing the Circle of Clean door seal are guaranteed that their rooms have been sanitized to a high standard. Inside, Circle of Clean hygiene kits are provided as part of the welcome amenities. To further boost awareness on the importance of hygiene, guests regularly receive “COCO” alerts on their phones, aside from the reminders that flash on their devices every time they log on to the hotel Wi-Fi.

When cleaning rooms, attendants wear full PPE gear to ensure their safety as well. Cleaning tools and equipment are disinfected with every use, using US Environmental Protection Agency approved products provided by Ecolab, a recognized expert in the hygiene service industry.

In light of social distancing guidelines, new Food and Beverage service protocols have also been put in place. Instead of the usual meals served in the hotels’ F&B outlets, pre-packaged sets are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room service is also offered, with contactless delivery for pre-ordered Flash Meals and Bento Boxes. In the kitchens, hygiene and cleanliness are strictly observed, and staff are made to wear PPEs to further ensure food safety. Onsite restaurants—Café Summit Tagaytay and Café Summit Greenhills—have received certification from the Department of Tourism for their strict observance of government-approved food safety protocols.

Upon checkout, returned key cards and luggage of departing guests are automatically disinfected. Guests have the choice to continue receiving COCO alerts on their phone and reminders on public health protocols via email even after they check out.
