Quezon City recognizes Robinsons Malls for Excellence in Resiliency

The honor was given at the 2025 QC Green Awards.

As a testament to its mission in serving the nation through sustainability and preparedness amdist climate change, Robinsons Malls, the Commercial Centers Division of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), received the Excellence in Resiliency Award - Business Category at the 2025 QC Green Awards. The awards, led by Quezon City (QC) Mayor Joy Belmonte, were held last November 13, 2025, at the Quezon City Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions (MICE) Center. 

Currently on its third year, the annual QC Green Awards celebrates organizations that demonstrate leadership and innovation in environmental stewardship and disaster risk reduction. Robinsons Malls was commended for its proactive emergency preparedness programs, community-focused response protocols, and sustained efforts to protect the well-being of shoppers, tenants, and surrounding communities during times of crisis. Highlighted at the awarding ceremony was Roots & Runoff: Robinsons Galleria’s Tree Planting and Flood Resilience Project, a nature-based solution that integrates green infrastructure and native tree planting to manage stormwater, reduce urban heat, and enhance flood resilience in Metro Manila.

This recognition adds to Robinsons Malls’ growing roster of sustainability achievements. At the inaugural QC Green Awards, Robinsons Magnolia took home the Excellence in Climate Action Award for its Green Residual Waste Management Program, while Robinsons Novaliches received a Special Citation in Climate Action for its various sustainability initiatives. Robinsons Novaliches returned to the stage at the 2024 QC Green Awards, where it won the Excellence in Climate Action Award for its Recycling Market initiative. Earlier in 2025, Robinsons Malls was named a Global Recycling Hero by the Global Recycling Foundation.

Through Robinsons Malls, RLC continues to strengthen its emergency preparedness measures and community-building programs in alignment with local and national resilience goals, fostering safe, sustainable, and disaster-ready communities that stand as pillars of strength and stability throughout the country.
